Well, it stands for “Building Legacies for our Queens and Kings”, a powerful statement that speaks to the club’s values of creating a strong community and supporting one another.

Founder Watson also invites customers to “Pour with a purpose” by trying their delicious coffee beans sourced from women-owned farms in Ethiopia, which he refers to as the homeland and birthplace of coffee. Ritchie Tuazon founded and named his pickleball team BLQK Pickleball because he noticed tremendous and rapid growth in pickleball both in the US and around the world. BLQK is actually a coffee business, but they found pickleball to be such an exciting and engaging sport that they wanted to promote it widely so that everyone could join in. They want to spread the joy that we feel when we play this sport to those who currently do not have access to the necessary resources.

BLQK Pickleball considers this game as an excellent way to keep themselves active and have fun with their friends and family. But more broadly, they see it as a way to contribute to their community.
